New Feature: Transfers

I have added a new clone feature to transfers.

The clone feature will allow customers create a new transfer will the same products as the current transfer. This can be used to send the same items to multiple locations, or reverse a transfer back to the source branch.

This feature was requested by one of our engineers.

Head Office Update

The next head office update is scheduled for release on 4th July 2006. Below is a list of the some of the main changes.

• New best sellers profit report.
• New weekly sales analysis report.
• New stock on order outstanding report.
• New monthly orders report.
• Quick POS post code finder support.
• Clone transfers feature.

This release requires Service Pack One.

Bug Tracking

I am currently setting up a bug tracking system, using the excellent Mantis.

Access will be available to all customers, on request. If you would like access, please e-mail support, with your name and e-mail address.

POS Post Code Finder

The next release of POS will include support for the post code finder. This will allow till users to search for customer addresses by post code alone.

Using the post code finder saves time and prevents typing and spelling mistakes, in cutomer addresses.

The head office concessions module, Quick POS, will also support this feature.

Three new reports will be available to all customers with the next head office update.
